Arizona State at Wisconsin
Wisconsin blocked an extra point with 4:09 left as the 12th ranked Badgers beat Arizona State 20-19.

Wisconsin went up 3-0 early, but Omar Bolden returned the ensuing kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown. Both teams exchanged field goals, and right before halftime, Scott Tolzien hit Lance Kendricks for a 14 yard score, and Wisconsin led 13-10.

But on the ensuing kickoff, Kyle Middlebrooks found a hole and broke through it. Middlebrooks looked to have 6 points, but Shelton Johnson made an amazing tackle at the 1 yard line.

In the third, with the score tied at 13, John Clay broke through a hole for a 19 yard TD run. No one would score until Cameron Marshall burst into the end zone to score a touchdown. The PAT would tie the game.

But safety Jay Valai burst off of the line and blocked the kick, and that would be the difference. Wisconsin improved to 3-0 with the win, and the Sun Devils dropped to 2-1.

Clemson at Auburn
When Clemson took a 17-0 lead on Jamie Harper's diving TD catch, Gameday started to think about the decision that they made to go to Auburn. Auburn started to change their strategy.

Auburn rallied from a 17-3 deficit to beat the Clemson Tigers 27-24 in OT after a false start call. Auburn is now 3-0.

In the third, 2 touchdown runs tied the game up, and then Cameron Newton hit Terrell Zachary down the sideline for a 78 yard touchdown. But in the fourth, Andre Ellington ran for 6 points, and the game went into overtime 24 all.

Auburn started with the ball, but they couldn't get anything. Wes Byrum came up big and made a 38 yard field goal, and then it was Clemson's turn.

The Tigers got down to the 9, but they had to kick a field goal. The Tigers made it, but it didn't count. The long snapper moved the ball before the kick, so the kick had to be re-attempted. Chandler Catanzaro missed it, and Auburn escaped with a W.

Notre Dame at #17 Michigan State
Brian Kelly isn't used to losing. He definitely isn't used to losing 2 straight games against the Michigan schools.

Well, he may have to get used to it.

Punter Aaron Bates hit Charlie Gantt on a fake field goal pass in overtime as Michigan State beat Notre Dame 34-31. Sparty is now 3-0.

Dayne Crist hit Michael Floyd early, and Notre Dame led 7-0 after 1. But Kirk Cousins led Sparty downfield, and he hit Keshawn Martin for 6. The score was tied 7 all at the half.

But in the third, Edwin Baker broke a tackle, found a hole, and raced down the sideline for a 56 yard score. But Dayne Crist threw 2 more TD's, and the score was knotted at 21.

In the fourth, Crist threw his fourth TD, and Notre Dame was up by 7. But that lead wouldn't last long. Kirk Cousins found B.J Cunningham for a 24 yard strike, and the score was tied again. The game went into overtime.

Notre Dame got the ball, and they nailed a field goal. Then, Michigan State got the ball, and after a sack, Michigan State was forced to try a 46 yard field goal.

The Spartans tried a fake field goal, and punter Aaron Bates hit Charlie Gantt on a fake field goal. Michigan State made it, and the Spartans had won.

#10 Iowa at Arizona
From special teams to defense, Arizona built up a 20 point lead. From special teams to defense, the Wildcats lost all of that lead. Then, with offense, the Wildcats won the game.

Trevon Wade returned an interception for a touchdown, and Trevin Cobb returned a kickoff for a touchdown as Arizona beat Iowa 34-27. The Wildcats have now proved to be an elite team.

Arizona forced Iowa to go 3 and out, and then Dave Roberts blocked a punt. Nick Foles hit David Douglas on a screen pass, and Arizona led 7-0. But Iowa was driving downfield.

Ricky Stanzi threw a short pass to Marvin McNutt, who deflected the ball into Trevon Wade's hands. Wade returned the ball 85 yards into the end zone. On Arizona's next drive, Juron Criner made a great catch to get Arizona into the red zone, but Nic Grigsby fumbled. Then Uowa drove downfield, and Stanzi hit Jewel Hampton for 6.

On the ensuing kickoff, Trevin Cobb ran through a hole and scored on the ensuing kickoff. Arizona made 2 field goals, and the score was 27-7 at the half.

Midway through the third, Iowa got the ball at the Arizona 49. Stanzi hit Derrell Johnson Koulianos for a 37 yard TD strike, and the score was 27-14. In the fourth quarter, William Wright fumbled a punt, and Iowa recovered. Stanzi hit Marvin McNutt for a TD easily, and the score was 27-21.

The Wildcats got the ball, but Nick Foles under-threw a pass. Broderick Binns intercepted a pass, and returned it for a touchdown. Iowa missed the PAT, but the score was tied.

Nick Foles threw a 36 yard pass, and then he hit David Douglas on 2 passes for a total of 29 yards. Nic Grigsby rushed for a first down on 3rd and 1, and then Nick Foles hit William Wright for a touchdown.

Justin Washington had 2 sacks on the final drive, and Arizona put away the Hawkeyes for the upset. Arizona plays California next week.
