Notable second and third round selections
Kansas City-Dexter McCluster, RB, Ole Miss
Tampa Bay-Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois
Baltimore-Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
Carolina-Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
49ers-Taylor Mays, S, USC
Vikings-Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford
Bengals-Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
Seahawks-Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
Round 3
Ravens-Ed Dickson, TE, Oregon
Titans-Damian Williams, WR, USC
Carolina-Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU
Bengals-Jordan Shipley, WR, Texas
Browns-Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
Broncos-Eric Decker, WR, Minnesota
Panthers-Armanti Edwards, QB/WR, Appalachian State

Best draft: Kansas City Chiefs: They got Eric Berry in the first round, a hard-hitting safety, and Dexter McCluster, a RB who can cut back and score easily. They topped that off with speedy CB Javier Arenas, who is a great return specialist. Great job Chiefs.

Biggest drop: Everson Griffen, DE, USC: I know Colt McCoy and Jimmy Clausen fell deep in this draft, but what about Eveerson Griffen? Griffen was supposed to be drafted late first round, and I had him going 16th to Tennessee. Now he barely made the top 100. This class is very deep, but some players drafted ahead of him shouldn't have been. He ended up going 100th to Minnesota in the 4th round.

Best draft (2nd and 3rd rounds): Carolina Panthers: This is seriously a no-brainer. They nab Jimmy Clausen 48th (a steal), then they take Brandon LaFell, a great WR out of LSU. Then they nab Armanti Edwards of Appalachian State, who helped them beat Michigan in college and he can play QB or WR. They had no first round picks, but they made up for it here. Then, to start off the fourth, they picked Eric Norwood, a linebacker who is 3rd round worthy and has great instincts.

Biggest Steals: Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy
Like I said, Carolina had no first rounders. So they made up for the 49ers, Vikings, Chiefs,
Broncos, and other teams passing up on him by nabbing Clausen at 48. Then, the Browns made a trade for the 59th pick, and they got Montario Hardesty. A good goal line back, but now they weren't gonna get Colt McCoy. Or were they? McCoy fell 26 more spots to 85, and the Browns nabbed him there.

Top 10 Fourth Round Picks
Rams-Mardy Gilyard, WR, Cincinnati
Vikings-Everson Griffen, DE, USC
Bucs-Mike Williams, WR, Syracuse
Texans-Darryl Sharpton, ILB, Miami
Redskins-Perry Riley, OLB, LSU
Titans-Alterraun Verner, CB, UCLA
Eagles-Trevard Lindley, CB, Kentucky
Raiders-Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Bills-Marcus Easley, WR, Connecticut
Raiders (Jaguars)-Jacoby Ford, WR, Clemson

Other noticeable fourth rounders
Jets-Joe McKnight, RB, USC
Patriots-Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida
Ravens-Dennis Pitta, TE, BYU
Eagles-Mike Kafka, QB, Northwestern
Panthers-Eric Norwood, LB, South Carolina
