Redskins vs Bears
With a terrible offensive line, Jay Cutler would need to make a quick decision of who he would pass to. Sometimes, he would throw a short pass to Johnny Knox.

And usually, when that happened, DeAngelo Hall came swooping in like a bird.

Hall intercepted 4 second-half passes from Cutler as the Redskins survived the Bears 17-14 to improve to 4-3. Hall returned one intercpetion for a touchdown, and one clinched the win for the 'Skins.

Early in the game, the Redskins got down to the Chicago 22 yard line. But after a holding penalty, the 'Skins would be pushed back 10 yards. If they think that was bad, how about this.

Donovan McNabb tried a short pass, but D.J Moore closed in on the pass. He returned it 54 yards for a touchdown, and his Bears led 7-0. However, that wouldn't last for long.

McNabb calmly led the Redskins down to the 24 yard line, where it was second and 9. He went deep for Santana Moss, who caught the pass in the end zone. After 1 quarter the game was tied at 7.

After a 3 and out for Washington, they got the ball at midfield. They only gained 21 yards, 22 of them on a pass from McNabb to Anthony Armstrong, but they got in field goal range. Graham Gano nailed a 46 yard kick, and Washington led 10-7.

However, after 2 failed drives, Jay Cutler got going. He led the Bears to the 9 yard line of Washington, and with 24 seconds left in the half, he hit Johnny Knox for a one yard score.

Already up 14-10, the Bears couldn't do anything sloppy. Try telling that to Cutler. He led the team down to the one yard line on a 48 yard pass, but he fumbled trying to plow into the goal line. Although Washington had to punt, they weren't down 21-10.

Then, with 9:00 left in the third, the DeAngelo show started.

Cutler threw a pass short right to Devin Hester, but DeAngelo Hall was within reach of the ball. He dove in and intercepted the pass at the Redskins 39, ending a great chance for Chicago.

However, the same fate would go for McNabb. Darius Manning intercepted a McNabb pass and returned it to the 41 yard line, where the Bears took over. They got down to the Redskin 13, looking to add to their lead and not turn it over for the 3rd time in a row.

But that's what they did. Cutler threw a sloppy pass to Knox, and Hall was again on him. Hall swooped in, grabbed the ball with one hand and raced down the sidelines. He ran the pick back 92 yards for a touchdown! Washington had their first lead in over 20 game minutes.

Chicago got the ball back, and they drove to the Redskins 35. But this time, it wasn't Cutler messing up. Cutler hit Matt Forte on a swing pass, and Forte was hit hard by Adam Carriker. Forte fumbled, and Carriker picked it up, ending another drive in Redskin territory.

The Redskins looked to add to their lead, and they looked to be in good position to do that with the ball near the red zone. But Ryan Torian fumbled, and Charles Tillman picked it up, ending a potential scoring drive.

Chicago got the ball deep in their own territory, and that was not a good thing. Cutler was once again intercepted by Hall, and the Redskins now had the ball at the Chicago 13. But they lost 6 yards, and Graham Gano, normally a great kicker, hit the upright from 37 yards out.

With about 2 minutes left and the ball at the 47, Jay Cutler and Chicago looked to finally be ready to score. But it wasn't so. Cutler overthrew Johnny Knox deep down the left sideline, and Hall snatched the ball from the air for his fourth pick of the game!

The Redskins won 17-14 to improve to 4-3. The Bears are also 4-3.

Interesting fact: The two teams combined to turn the ball over 8 times in the second half, with the Bears accounting for 6 of those turnovers. DeAngelo Hall intercepted 4 passes, both running backs fumbled, McNabb was intercepted and Cutler fumbled at the goal line.
