USC vs. Oregon and other hauntingly fun halloween games
Oregon fans have been waiting for this one for over 2 years, when the 2 teams last met. But why is this one so special? Because it's: Halloween. While the Quack Attack may not get to go trick or treating, they have the oppertunity to secure a happy halloween with a win tonight.
However, USC has been looking for revenge on Oregon, and this game was circled on their calendar. The game will obviously decide the Pac-10, and if USC loses, no Rose Bowl for them for the first time since like 04, when they won the championship in the Orange Bowl.
Last time USC faced Oregon, it was close in the first quarter, and midway through the second, but USC pulled away for a 44-10 win. Masoli is looking for payback this time.
The candy I will give for this game is a Twix, because both teams stick in the game, like Twix, which is sticky, and my pediction is 9 USC 31, 7 Oregon 39.
15 Oklahoma State vs. 3 Texas
Last time the 2 met in Stllwater, Texas escaped with a 38-35 win. Without Dez Bryant, Zac Robinson needs to find a new 1 target, and OK State needs to establish the run game.
But the most important element is stop Colt McCoy. Play good defense and all that is needed is like 24 points. the Cowboys key is definitely stopping McCoy on the pass and the run.
The candy I will give for this game is Hershey's, because Hershey's melts easily and I think one of the teams will fall apart. I think UT's offense is too much for the Cowboys, and I like Texas 38-23.
1 Florida vs. Georgia
Georgia seems like a back and forth team, and for the 4-3 Dawgs this is their down day. I think they have the same key as Oklahoma State, stop Tebow on the run and pass.
But Florida can still win with the run. However, the top ranked Gators have struggled, beating Arkansas and Mississippi State by a total of 13 points. I think Georgia can beat Florida on the run, so they need to completely focus on the pass.
The candy I will give for this game is Jolly Rancher because just like Tebow and the tough Gators Jolly Rancher is tough and hard to chew. My pick is 1 Florida 41, Georgia 24.
