Twins vs. Yankees Game 2

Orlando Cabrera helped send the Twins to the playoffs with a dramatic homer against Detroit for the AL Central Title. It was different tonight in the Bronx.

Alex Rodriguez hit a 2 run shot to tie the game up at 3, and in the bottom of the 10th, the Twins gained momentum by stopping Brett Gardener from getting home.

But in the 11th, the sound of the ball as it rocketed into the stands made Yankees fans cheer very loudly as the Yankees moved only one game away from going to the ALCS.

The Twins had a chance to win the game with 2 outs and the bases loaded in the top of the 11th, but Nick Harris flew out to center.

Game three is in Minnesota Sunday night at 7:00 PM ET. The Yankees lead the series 2-0 needed only 1 more win to move on to the ALCS against the Red Sox or Angels.
