Phillies vs. Yankees Games 1 and 2

Cliff Lee has done amazing since he was traded to the Phillies. Well, he kept that going in World Series Game 1.

Lee threw 7 early strikeouts, and all the Yankees could manage was a late score off of the Phillies bullpen. Chase Utley hit 2 longballs and Philadelphia won 6-1.

Hideki Matsui and Mark Teixeira hit solo shots, and Jorge Posado knocked in an RBI single as the Yankees beat the Phillies 3-1 to even up the World Series.

Matt Stairs knocked in Raul Ibanez in the second to put Philly ahead 1-0, and it looked like a long night for A.J Burnett. But, Burnett didn't allow any more runs, and the Yankees held on.

Game 3 is in Philadelphia on Halloween. It is at 7:57 PM ET, 4:57 PT.
