Mavs. vs. Lakers and Pre-Halloween NBA Recap

What time is it? For kids, Halloween. For NBA players? Time to get serious. Is that what the Lakers did? No.

Dirk Nowitzki scored a double double with a 21 and 10 game, Jason Kidd dished 11 assists, Erick Dampier grabbed 10 boards and the Mavs took down the Lakers 94-80.

It was the first time that the Mavs beat the Lakers at the Staples Center since March 11, 2007, when the Lakers where still a 5 or 6 seed team.

"It feels like we haven't won down here forever", Nowitzki says. But, for the Mavs, that drama is over.
