Conference Championship Recap

Brief Summaries
Akron vs Kent State
Brett McKnight wasn't going anywhere. He had just been suspended, and was sitting on the bench during the most crucial moment of the game. But 2 free throws changed that.

McKnight made 2 free throws to give Akron a one point lead, and 2 blocks sealed the win that powered Akron to a one point OT win over Kent State to win the MAC Title.

McKnight led Akron with 15 points in the win.

Washington vs Arizona
Down 68-65, Washington needed someone to step up. They got it. Then, in overtime, they needed it again. They got it, and a Pac-10 championship.

Isaiah Thomas scored 28 points and hit the buzzer-beating shot as Washington beat Arizona 77-75 in overtime to capture the Pac-10 title.

Down 68-65 in regulation, Thomas weaved through 2 players and dished it out to Matthew Bryan-Amaning, who drilled a 3 to tie the game. Then, in OT, Isaiah Thomas drilled a fadeaway to give Washington the Pac-10 title.

Harvard vs Princeton
Douglas Davis made a running jumper at the buzzer to give the Tigers a 63-62 win and the Ivy League title.

With 10 seconds left Brandon Curry of Harvard made a layup, but Davis responded by dribbling by a Harvard defender and hitting a runner at the buzzer to spark Princeton.
