Oregon at Oregon State
Early on, the Civil War looked like it could go the Beavers way. With stellar 3rd down offense and an early 7-0 lead, the Beavers looked poised for the W and a bowl bid. But Chip Kelly and co had other plans.

4 total touchdowns from the Duck backfield powered the Quack Attack to a 3rd straight Civil War win and a bid in the BCS Title, where Cam Newton and Auburn await.

The Beavs capitalized on a turnover and took a 7-0 lead, but Darron Thomas found Kenjon Barner on a wide route to make it 7-6. After Talmedge Jackson III grabbed a tipped ball, the Ducks had a 9-7 lead and the momentum.

After a TD by LaMichael James, 7 more from Oregon and a field goal from the Beavers, Oregon State found their time to come back. Down 23-10, they got to the Oregon 5. But a tipped pass on 3rd down forced the 5-6 Beavers to kick a field goal.

Not that that mattered, though. After a 26 yard slant pass from Darron Thomas to Jeff Maehl, Kenjon Barner found a hole to the right and galloped through it for 6. One touchdown for each team and about 8 minutes later, the game was over. Oregon had won, 37-20, and they had a BCS Title spot.

South Carolina vs Auburn
This game was highly anticipated, for many people thought after a 1 point win over Alabama, who South Carolina dominated, that the Gamecocks could win. But not many of those people thought about Cameron Newton.

And he made them pay, accounting for 6 touchdowns and leading Auburn to a 56-17 victory over South Carolina, who the Tigers struggled with early in the season. Darvin Adams caught 2 touchdowns and set up another one.

Early on, Adams got a step ahead of his defender and Newton found him for a big gain. Then he hit Ontario McCalebb out of the backfield for a TD, and Auburn led 7-0. However, the Gamecocks answered, and it was 7-7.

Newton found Adams deep for another score, putting Auburn on top of the 'Cocks 21-14. Then, on the last play of the half, Adams grabbed a tipped ball to make it 28-14. And in the 3rd, nothing changed, with Newton rumbling in for another 6 and pressure causing a pick-6. After that it was 42-14.

Nothing changed, as Auburn kept dominating. The Tigers had easily bested South Carolina, and punched their ticket to the BCS Title, where they will face Oregon January 10 in Glendale, AZ.

Connecticut at South Florida
Dave Teggart had everything going. 4 field goals, 2 from more than 50 yards, were enough for the 8-4 Huskies to take home a BCS bid. But it was a struggle.

The Bulls struck first with 3, but Connecticut responded with a field goal as well to make it 3-3. Neither team could capaitize on anything and score, except for on one first half play. A Bobby Eveld pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage, and it was intercepted by Connecticut and returned for a touchdown. Connecticut led 13-3 at halftime.

Neither team got going in the 3rd quarter, and the only score was a field goal by South Florida. However, Teggart responded, drilling a kick from 50 yards away to give the Huskies a 16-6 lead.

But South Florida responded, with Eveld finding Dontavio Bogan on a slant pattern to make it 16-13. And late in the game, with a couple deep passes on slants, USF set up the tying field goal with about 1:30 left.

But QB Zach Frazer was ready. He threw an 18 yard pass on a slant, and after a 6 yard run by Jordan Todman, Teggart was ready. He drilled a 52 yard kick, and 23 seconds later the Huskies secured their first ever BCS bid.

Oklahoma vs Nebraska
The Big 12 title appeared to be heading towards the Cornhusker state, with Nebraska building an early 17-0 lead. But just 2 hours later, it found it's true home.

Blitzing sophomore Taylor Martinez and taking advantage of his inexperience helped the Sooners pick up 6 late points and win the Big 12 title, beating Nebraska 23-20. Oklahoma will play in the Fiesta Bowl, most likely facing Connecticut.

Roy Helu Jr. and Nebraska struck first, with Helu taking a handoff 66 yards to the house. After a turnover set up a field goal and Rex Burkhead threw a TD, Nebraska had a conformable 17-0 lead.

But Kenny Stills and Oklahoma came back. Landry Jones found Stills on a post route, and then he picked up the first down on a fake handoff QB run. That set up a touchdown, and after the 2 ball clubs exchanged FG's, Nebraska held the halftime lead.

But that wouldn't matter. After a fumble, a red zone interception, and a botched handoff, the Sooners tied the game. Then, on 3rd and 24, Jones found Ryan Broyles for 22 yards. The Sooners picked up the first on 4th down, and after a Jimmy Stewart field goal, Oklahoma led 23-20.

But Nebraska still had a chance. On 2nd and 7 on their final drive, Martinez was sacked on a CB Blitz. But on the next play, Nebraska picked up 11 yards, setting up a 4th and 5. However, a quick pass was knocked down, and Oklahoma had the game.
