Rays vs Orioles
Julio Lugo hit the game-winning single in the bottom of the 13th as the Orioles beat the Rays 11-10.

The Orioles were down by 4 late in the game, but they came back. Miguel Tejada hit 2 2 run doubles, including the tying one in the ninth. He had 4 RBI's.

Baltimore improved to 30-63, while Tampa Bay fell to 56-37.

Luke Scott hit 2 homers for the Orioles, while Ty Wiggington and Adam Jones went deep early.

Astros vs Cubs
Aramis Ramirez hit 3 homers and knocked in 7 RBI's as the Cubs rallied from down 6-0 to beat the Astros 14-7.

Houston scored the first 6 runs, but Chicago came back. They cut the deficit to 7-3, then Ramirez made it 7-6 with a 3 run blast. In the sixth, Geovany Soto tied it up with a homer, while Derrek Lee and Alfonso Soriano gave Chicago a 9-7 lead after 7.

In the eighth, Ramirez got a good pitch and knocked it deep. Carlos Marmol pitched 1 perfect inning for the save, and the Cubs improved to 43-52.

A's vs Red Sox
Kevin Kouzmanoff hit an RBI single in the bottom of the tenth as the A's beat the Red Sox 5-4. The A's are now 47-47.

The Red Sox took a 4-0 lead early, but Jack Cust hit a 2 run double. Later in the inning, Kevin Kouzmanoff hit a sac fly to tie the game at 4.

Both teams were held scoreless, so the game went into extra innings. Andrew Bailey shut down Boston in the top of the tenth, but Oakland got 2 runners on with 2 outs.

Then Kouzmanoff got a good 2-2 pitch, and he hit it into right. Kurt Suzuki came home to score, and the A's won.

Giants vs Dodgers
Andres Torres hit the go-ahead, 2 run double in the ninth as the Giants beat the Dodgers 7-5. The Giants improved to 5-1 after the All-Star break.

Tim Lincecum had a tough outing, so he came out after the score was 5-1 in favor of the Dodgers. However, in the 6th, Pablo Sandoval's 2 run double cut the Dodger lead to 5-4.

Then, in the bottom of the ninth, Torres nailed a 0-1 pitch deep into center field for a 2 run double. Buster Posey hit an RBI single for the Giants to add to the score.

Jeremy Affeldt pitched a 1-hit ninth as the Giants got the win and Affeldt the save. San Francisco is now .5 games back of the Wild Card spot in the NL.
