LeBron makes decision; Amazing Octopus

A king arrives in...
Miami. LeBron James announced last night that he was heading to South Beach to create a "super-team". LeBron will become the next member of the Miami Heat.

During the 2010-2011 season, all the attention will be on the Miami Heat. The Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks will get attention, but everyone will be foucsed on how LeBron plays with D-Wade and C-Bosh.

LeBron made his announcement at about 9:30 PM ET. The announcement was made at the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. The announcement rocked the bars in Miami, but it crushed Cleveland.

The only problem for LeBron is that he will be hated in his hometown. Cavs fans were even burning their LeBron jerseys.

On the other hand, he will be a favorite in Miami. He will probably win some titles in his time in South Beach.

Prediction: LeBron wins 3 titles in South Beach.

Paul the Octopus
In a German aquarium, in a tank, an amazing octopus lies. Paul the Octopus has put on a show for German fans and aquarium visitors.

How? With the World Cup.

Paul has correctly picked the winner of all 6 of Germany's games so far, and he will most likely be picking the winner of Germany against Uruguay.

How does he do it? Well, the flags of Germany and their opponent are attached to a glass container, and a snack is put inside it. The snack that Paul chooses is what they consider his prediction.

Luckilly for Paul, Germany has not tied a game. The only 2 times Paul picked Germany to lose, they were upset by Serbia and Spain.

A's Fall To White Sox On Walk-Off Home Run

In late innings, the Oakland Athletics are almost unstoppable. However, Jordan Danks found a way to stop the A's. Danks hit a home run to right with two outs in the ninth to propel the White Sox to a 4-3 win over the A's. Both teams are competing in the AL Wild Card race, so the loss is crucial for the A's, who received a solid outing from Brandon McCarthy in his return from the DL. McCarthy allowed three earned runs in six-plus innings pitched, and the two teams were tied after seven innings. Both teams received solid efforts from the bullpen, but the White Sox triumphed at the end. Dayan Viciedo, A.J Pierzynski and Alexi Ramirez also homered, all taking advantage of mistakes by McCarthy. McCarthy gave Ramirez a meatball in the fourth, and he hit it deep to left field. Viciedo and Pierzynski both hit outside pitches into the seats for the White Sox.
