NBA Playoff Look-In

The NBA Playoffs have been going very well; we don't have any very close games or series in the second round, but still, a lot is going on. Let's take a look.

Phoenix Suns vs. San Antonio Spurs
Game 1
San Antonio was favored to win this series because of their past with Phoenix, but Phoenix didn't think that would happen. Phoenix took an early lead, but San Antonio tied the game in the third. However, Steve Nash overcame a hip injury to score 33 and dish out 10 assists in a 111-102 Phoenix victory.

Game 2
Phoenix trailed early 32-21, but they came back and tied the game at halftime thanks to Jason Richardson and Steve Nash's passing. And Phoenix held on in the second half, led by 23 points and 11 boards from Amare Stoudemire. The Suns won 110-102.

Game 3
Phoenix again fell behind by 9 after 1 quarter, but they didn't give up and the score was only 50-44 at halftime. But Goran Dragic then took over. He helped Phoenix cut the lead to 72-71 after 3, then he took over and keyed the 110-96 victory. Pheonix leads 3-0.

Utah Jazz vs. LA Lakers
Game 1
LA took an early lead and they lead by 8 at the half, but then Utah came back. Pau Gasol kept the Lakers in it, and they took over late in the fourth like they always do, and a 104-97 lead with :10 was too much for Utah. LA won 104-99.

Game 2
LA built a 58-46 halftime lead, and the defense down low helped prevent Utah from winning as LA held on to win 111-103. Kobe Bryant scored 30 and dished 8 assists, and had 3 blocks. LA leads the series 2-0.
Pick: LA in 5

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics
Game 1
The Cavs and LeBron fell behind as Boston just played better and grabbed more rebunds, and they trailed 54-43 at the half. Boston lead 66-55, but LeBron hit jumpers and scored on layups, and he made an amazing layup at the end of the third to put Cleveland up 79-78. They never pulled away until late in the fourth, and a 3 by LeBron sealed the 101-93 win.

Game 2
The first half was close, but in the third quarter Boston took over. Rajon Rondo found everybody and finished the game with 13 points and 19 assists, and he was the key to a 31-12 3rd quarter run that gave Boston the 104-86 win and home-court advantage.

Game 3
Cleveland wanted some real revenge. So LeBron scored on layups, nailed jumpers, and outscored Boston 21-17 in the first quarter. Cleveland led by 19 after 1, and LeBron's tough jumpers helped Cleveland steal home-court and win 124-95. Cleveland leads the series 2-1.

Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks
Game 1
The first quarter was close, but then Orlando completely took over. They drove down low to score, they scored outside, and they led 53-33 at the half. After 3 they led 85-44, and they even held Atlanta without a field goal for a period of 9:49! The Magic won 114-71.

Game 2
Orlando took a 32-27 lead after 1, but Atlanta then took over and started nailing their jumpers. The Hawks led 57-49 at the half, but Orlando scored 35 in the third and took a 1 point lead. They started hitting all their 3's in the fourth, and Orlando won 112-98. Orlando leads the series 2-0.
