Top 5 Bowl Games

1 TCU vs. Boise State
I'm not going with the BCS Title here because I think Alabama has a huge shot of obliterating the Longhorns and Kellen Moore and the Boise offense will provide a real challenge for Jerry Hughes and the TCU defense. Andy Dalton is a great leader for TCU and he has led the Horned Frogs to wins over Clemson, Air Force, BYU, Wyoming and Utah, all bowl game qualifiers. This game is very exciting and it should be even more intense then last year's game, a 17-16 TCU win. I like the Frogs 35-31 in a very intense battle.

2 Alabama vs. Texas
It will be interesting to see how Alabama's pass defense will perform vs. Colt McCoy, who had a very disappointing night in Texas's Big 12 Title win over Nebraska. On paper, Alabama seems like they could kill the Horns, because their defense would hold and Mark Ingram and Greg McElroy would get points on the board for Alabama. I like Bama here 34-17 and I think Mark Ingram is very worthy of a Heisman.

3 Iowa vs. Georgia Tech
This is a very exciting match-up where we will be able to see how Jonathan Dwyer and Josh Nesbitt fare on the big stage with that trick-play offense, and where we can see Ricky Stanzi showcase his talent. If Stanzi plays, him and Adam Robinson could be the next team to torture Georgia Tech's mediocre defense. If Dwyer gets a couple of nice runs, it could thrust him up 5 spots on the NFL draft board. I like Georgia Tech in the most exciting Orange Bowl since 2006.

4 Ohio State vs. Oregon
Only Boise State has really been able to shut down Oregon's offense, and that is Boise State. Since September 3, Oregon has poured no less than 24 points on any team, and the offense has become unstoppable. With LeGarette Blount back to break tackles, the Ducks should be looking good in the Rose Bowl. Terrelle Pryor is going to have an amazing day and the Ohio State defense is going to have to play like the team that allowed Penn State only 7 points. I like Oregon 44-36 because their offense is unstoppable. Just ask USC.

5 Florida vs. Cincinnati
Tim Tebow really played badly vs. Alabama, but he has one more chance to show NFL scouts that he is worthy of a high draft pick by playing well here. But, the Gator defense is going to have to play well if they want to win. Tony Pike has played amazing over the course of the season and Mardy Gilyard is one of the best punt and kickoff returners in the country. I think this will be a shootout, but the Gator defense will show up and Florida will hold for a 34-31 win.

Best non-BCS game: Oklahoma State v. Mississippi: If you haven't seen Dexter McCluster, you are missing out. He can outrun defenders, break tackles and catch passes and he can do all of that in the Cotton Bowl vs. Oklahoma State. Zac Robinson vs. Jevan Snead excites me and McCluster and Kendall Hunter and the OK State running backs should create a Cotton Bowl to remember. I like McCluster and Snead to come through and lead Ole Miss to a 38-31 win, but this game will be close.

Others: USC vs. Boston College, Miami vs. Wisconsin, Orgeon State vs, BYU, North Carolina vs. Pittsburgh, Stanford vs. Oklahoma, Cal vs, Utah, Virginia Tech vs, Tennessee.
