Games of the Week
Arizona vs. Tennessee
The Titans came into this game the hottest team in the NFL having won 4 straight to improve to 4-6. But the 7-3 Arizona Cardinals proved a real challenge for Tennessee. Let's go to the recap.

The first half wasn't too exciting, all that happened were 3 field goals that had Tennessee up 6-3. But the third quarter got things started. On first and 10 at their own 15, Chris Johnson took a handoff up the middle and outran 3 Cardinals for an 85 yard TD run. But La-Rod Stephens Howling did practically the same thing and he ran the kickoff back for a touchdown. At the end of the third Tennessee led 13-10.

And then, Tim Hightower had a 6 yard TD run and it was up to the Arizona defense to hold Tennessee. However, there was still 12:20 left to go. Then Tennessee got the ball at the 1 yard line and 3 plays later faced 4th and 4 at the 7. Young completed a 10 yard pass to Kenny Britt and the Titans had a fresh set of downs. Young then hit Lavelle Hawkins and Bo Scaife on 2 straight passes that had Tennessee at their own 38. Young hit Jared Cook and the ball was at the 50. 3 plays later, they faced a 4th and 4 at the Arizona 44. Young hit Lavelle Hawkins for a 13 yard pass that set Tennessee with the ball at the Cardinals 31. On 3rd and 5, Young hit Jared Cook for a 17 yard pass that stopped the clock out of bounds. Then, on 4th and goal with 6 seconds left, Young looked, scrambled forward and threw to Kenny Britt, who made the catch and held on to the ball after being hit hard with a helmet.

Steelers vs. Ravens
This was the same thing: slow first half. Willis McGahee ran for a TD and Dennis Dixon threw the first TD pass of his NFL career to Santonio Holmes, but Derrick Mason caught a 10 yard touchdown pass from Joe Flacco and Baltimore led 14-7 at the half.

After 3 quarters it was 14-10 Baltimore, and early in the fourth the Ravens gave up a 54 yard field goal try for a punt. However, on the next Pitt possession Dennis Dixon scrambled 24 yards to the house to make the score 17-14. Baltimore then got a field goal and Pittsburgh took over with 1:29 left. But they went 3 and out and Baltimore had another chance. But Billy Cundiff missed a 56 yard field goal and they were going into overtime. Then, with 2nd and 5 at the 50 Paul Kruger stepped in front of a Dennis Dixon pass and picked the ball and returned it all the way to the Steeler 26. Ray Rice then had some runs that totaled 17 yards and Joe Flacco kneeled to put the ball in the center of the gield for Billy Cundiff, who hit the 29 yard kick to send Baltimore into second place in the AFC North and the kick imroved the Ravens to 6-5 and right there in the Wild Card race.
