Hofstra vs. Connecticut recap

When you look at a player to describe how good they are, there is usually one main category: points. Jerome Dyson impressed those people in that, and those NBA scouts who look for everything.

Dyson scored 12 straight points, shot 14 for 15 from the free throw line and put up 23 points in Uconn's win over Hofstra. He also had 4 assists and 2 steals, in addition to the fact that he played great defense.

Center Alex Oriakhi scored only 8 points, but he also grabbed 14 boards and swatted 4 balls. However, Dyson was the main part of Uconn forcing 11 Hofstra turnovers and an average of 32.9 percent from the floor. Connecticut shot 41.5 percent from the floor.

Connecticut will face LSU in the NIT early-season tournament.
