1st anniversary post

Welcome to the 1st anniversary of my blog! This may not be the exact feast that you were expecting, but it's got reasonable information. Let's take a look.

Men's Basketball
Former Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie was arrested for DUI early this morning. Gillispie, fired on March 27 almost led Kentucky to the NCAA Tournament, but Kentucky has been one of the best teams in the history of basketball, and even though it was a shock to most people, it really doesn't meet the team standards.

NFL
Michael Vick is ready to make his debut in Philadelphia. Tonight, Vick takes on the Jags in his debut in Philly. Vick matches up with David Garrard, and tries to make his first game in over 2 and half years.Watch early, because Vick will play in the first quarter. Can Vick play like the Falcon of the past. Find out tonight at 7:00 PM ET.

MLB
The Red Sox have released Brad Penny to free up some space after the Billy Wagner deal. The Mets sent Billy Wagner to the Sox for 2 minor league players to be named. The Sox have been in need of another good pitcher to try to keep their lead in the wild card race and gain on the Yankees.

NBA
Will AI end up a Memphis Grizzle? Maybe. He received an offer from Grizzles GM Chris Wallace, and it's true. Iverson may decline since he's towards the end of his career without a title, but he could boost Memphis's team as the star of the team

College Football
The USC Trojans have named Matt Barkley as their starter, a shock to most people. Aaron Corp did well, but this could really effect college football and USC because the Trojans are ranked 4/4/6. This could help Cal, Oregon, and other Pac-10 teams because this is not another Mark Sanchez, who is the Jets starter. And, these teams could have a big year, so unless Barkley performs, it could be USC troube.

So that wraps this up for this 5 sport post. Thanks for checking out my 1st anniversity post.

The Eagles grabbed a 33-32 comeback win, but Vick did nothing. I see LeSean McCoy as a fantasy sleeper.
