Warriors and Kings Draft 09
This year the Golden State Warriors had an O.K draft by drafting Stephen Curry, the nation's leading scorer in 08, but traded their best guard, Jamal Crawford, for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton, 2 horrible players. Monta Ellis is expected to start at PG and Anthony Morrow at SG, but the rookie Curry will most likely share time at the 1 and the 2.

The Kings did better in the draft, drafting Tyreke Evans 4th overall, who did great as a freshman at Memphis, leading the Tigers to the Sweet 16, and they traded Jeff Pendergraph [ the 31st pick] to Portland for future 2nd rounder, Sergio Rodriguez, and Jon Brockman [the 38th pick]. The Kings also drafted Omar Cassipi from Isreal 23rd, making them the first team to draft an Israeli in the first round.
