NBA Trade Rumors: Why the Heat Must Keep Their Big Three Intact

There have been rumors going around about the Heat breaking up their mighty "Big Three," which features stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Debates have been going on and on about this, and people have debated if the Heat should trade Wade or Bosh, or even if they should deal LeBron. And I have one thing to say about that.

It can't happen.

Last year, the Heat disappointed their fans by losing in the NBA Finals, although they lost a hard-fought series that went to six games. This year, fans gave up on the Heat twice during the playoffs.

And both times, they responded with a bang.

Down 2-1 to Indiana, most people expected the Pacers to run away with Game 4 and finish off the Heat in one of the final three games of the second round. However, LeBron and D-Wade stepped up in Chris Bosh's absence.

James put up 40 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists in Game 4 as the Heat tied the series at two. With the momentum on their side, Miami cruised in the final two games to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

In Games 1 and 2 against the Celtics, LeBron and Wade did nothing special, but James led the Heat to a 2-0 series lead. However, James fouled out and faltered late in the next three games, and while Wade was good late in games, he didn't do enough to propel the Heat to a victory.

And the Heat found themselves in a 3-2 hole.

In Game 6, Wade struggled, and Bosh had limited minutes (due to injury), but LeBron didn't. James took over the game, hitting every possible shot while scoring 45 points, grabbing 15 boards and dishing out five assists.

Before LeBron captured the minds of all basketball fans in Game 6, there were a lot of debates on whether to break up the "Big Three." I was shocked to see and hear what I did.

ESPN analysts discussed whether to break up the Big Three, while tweets from fans came in on the bottom of my television screen. I didn't pay much attention to the analysts, because the tweets took over my mind and shocked me.

"Trade LeBron." "Trade Dwyane Wade."

I know LeBron is heavily criticized for not being clutch and not delivering when his team needs him, but after a couple of bad games in his second season with the Heat, it's crazy to think the core could be broken up.

Miami came just shy of a championship last year, and they are close to one this year. I even think it's crazy to let the Big Three play one more year and break them up if they haven't won a championship.

Whenever LeBron is criticized, he shuts the people up with a great performance. If he has a bad game, he gets lots of criticism. Wade and Bosh don't get that kind of criticism, but it's obvious that they are pressured heavily to step up.

Overall, the Heat have never had a better shot at winning a championship. James, Wade and Bosh have developed great chemistry, and they work very hard to fulfill the dreams of Heat fans.

If the Heat leave them together for another year or two, they will bring home a championship. All three guys know what to do and how to do it, and if one of them is struggling, another steps up. That's what makes all three guys so valuable.

Trading one of these guys would be like rebuilding, and the Heat can't afford to do that at this time. No matter what happens in Game 7 against Boston, Miami must leave their core intact.

Because if they don't, a lot of negative chances will take place in South Beach.
