Week 1 Picks

Cal vs. Maryland: Cal LSU vs. Washington: LSU BYU vs. Oklahoma: Oklahoma Notre Dame vs. Nevada: Nevada Georgia vs. Oklahoma State: Oklahoma State Miami Florida vs. Florida State: Miami Florida Western Michigan vs. Michigan: Michigan Baylor vs. Wake Forest: Baylor Cincinnati vs. Rutgers: Rutgers THE REAL GAMEDAY'S GAME OF THE WEEK: Alabama vs. Virginia Tech: Virginia Tech

Week 1 Upsets

Here is my upset and 2 possible upsets. Notre Dame vs. Nevada. I have the Wolfpack taking down 22 Notre Dame. It probably won't happen, but I think Notre Dame will barely make a bowl. Wolfpack 28-24. Possible Upset Western Michigan vs. Michigan. The App State of 2009 could happen. I could see Western Michigan winning at the Big House. I'm not sure about it, but I consider it as a possibility. Watch out for the Broncos. Possible Upset I'm not saying it will happen, but Florida Atlantic has a shot at beating Nebraska. FAU beat Central Michigan, who is a sleeper, and I think Nebraska will win 38-21, but FAU will have a good year and they will probably go to a bowl that needs an extra team, like the St. Petersburg Bowl [my pick].

Eagles & Dolphins Fantasy Report

What we basically have here is Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick at QB, and since they will be splitting [Donovan may get more time] the load, I wouldn't pick either of them high. Same goes with Brian Westbrook, who is always injured, and I would draft rookie RB LeSean McCoy late as a backup RB, and if Westbrook gets reinjured, then start him. He is one of my 2 fantasy sleepers. And, DeSean Jackson is probably the Eagles number one target, and is probably a late 3rd rounder, early 4th rounder. Dolphins Chad Pennington won't do as well this year, and he won't be that good. I would consider him a 7th-13th round pick in most leagues and a backup quarterback. Here is my 2nd fantasy sleeper. Ronnie Brown of the Dolphins. Ricky Williams is nothing and Brown will have an amazing year if injures don't stop him. I could see a lot of 100+ yard games. Well I would take a chance on these 2 RB's, and wait on the quarterbacks, and D-Jack could be a sleeper as well.

1st anniversary post

Welcome to the 1st anniversary of my blog! This may not be the exact feast that you were expecting, but it's got reasonable information. Let's take a look. Men's Basketball Former Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie was arrested for DUI early this morning. Gillispie, fired on March 27 almost led Kentucky to the NCAA Tournament, but Kentucky has been one of the best teams in the history of basketball, and even though it was a shock to most people, it really doesn't meet the team standards. NFL Michael Vick is ready to make his debut in Philadelphia. Tonight, Vick takes on the Jags in his debut in Philly. Vick matches up with David Garrard, and tries to make his first game in over 2 and half years.Watch early, because Vick will play in the first quarter. Can Vick play like the Falcon of the past. Find out tonight at 7:00 PM ET. MLB The Red Sox have released Brad Penny to free up some space after the Billy Wagner deal. The Mets sent Billy Wagner to the Sox for 2 mi

Yanks or Sox

The Excitement! The amazement! The....AL East? That's right, the AL East race has been controlled by the Yankees now, and they have won 3 straight over the Sox. The series finale is tonight at 5 PT. Here are some reasons why the race is tougher than you think. Reason #1: The Red Sox won the first 8 games of the Yanks-BoSox series, and finishing off the Yankees in maybe 5 or 6 of the next seven, and having a 7-3 or 6-4 record average every ten games can get the Sox the division title. Reason #2: Except for a series with the Angels and a road series with the Yankees, the Red Sox have a very easy schedule. The Yanks and Sox both have Chicago { AL], Tampa Bay, and the Yankees play Toronto a lot. Reason #3: The Red Sox know the Yankees are a great home team, and the Yankees would have a huge advantage at home since the Sox have a lead in the Wild Card standings. Here are the AL East standings Yankees 68-42 Red So
